Hi... how are you? I hope you are doing good. I am Chandrashekhar Giri (aged 27). Most of my friends call me Shekhar as well. I like watching comedy movies. I love sophie songs. As far as sports & games are concerned I like Cricket, Football, Chess and badminton. Sometimes you can also find me playing ludo & teen patti :D. I love travelling in long journey trains. About my job, I am currently working as a Software Professional in a Multi National Indian IT Company at Hinjewadi, Pune. I spend my half of day time in my Organization. Then rest of time on internet and it can be anything from Facebook, chatting to just traversing an adhoc website. Why this blog? Most of my friends might be laughing when they will see this blog or actually right now they are laughing only :) (Guys plz calm down and please go through the complete blog). I am not a regular blogger but there was a need which took me out here so I will come very straight on this. There is a contest going on the website of XRBIA. The contest is all about selection of the President of XRBIA. The winner will get 1BHK flat from the XRBIA developers. XRBIA (pronounced: Exerbia) is a one of the exclusive residential development project that has been developed by the Eiffel group. The project has been launched with a vision to be a Home for all Indian. This is a extensively spread township, covering an area of about 200 Acres at a calm locality of the Pune City. The Eiffel Group is a reputed real estate company which has its projects ended the country and which is of high standard. The Company functioning with a vision of 'Offering a better life' has formed many residences of High standards so far. The attempt to improve the living standard of people to grow to be a prominent real estate company. This Xrbia is very elegantly designed residential complex which has been premeditated by the famous Architect Mr. Hafeez Contractor. I know you all might be having an idea about XRBIA, as a lot of advertisements were going on TV, newspapers, facebook etc... I myself first got to know about it through one of the newspaper. It was August 5, I was travelling in the intercity train from Mumbai to Pune. The complete journey takes around 3-4 hours therefore just to do some time pass I was going through this newspaper (Times of India) and as soon as I completed reading it at the end of the page I caught a glimpse of this small advertisement of XRBIA with the heading "Bookings Open Today". I would say it was the design of buildings which actually caught my notice on that Ad. The building were look alike of building I has seen in USA. I further focused and there was another patch on that Ad saying "Houses Start at 9 Lacs". I looked further for more details and the next line was, "Xrbia, Hinjewadi-Pune is master-planned and designed by Architect Hafeez Contractor". Now by this time one this was very much sure to me that this is something very BIG.

| I missed it again :( |
I am working in Hinjewadi for around 2 years now and I was looking for some good residential project for buying my own house. 2 years back Megapolis project was in boom but the starting cost was around 4200 psf. which was out of my budget. At the start of this year, Life Republic came and by the time I reached there to check out how is it, the prices were already too high and some what people there were kind of rude to explain anything further. About XRBIA, I went to there site location. I collected a lot of information about them and although I was completely convinced but I thought let's see what is the public response then only I will make my final call. After 3-4 days, I went to their website and clicked on "Buy Online" and a new page came with the message: "All apartments in Xrbia, Hinjewadi (Phase 1) are SOLD OUT! We thank you for your positive response. We will announce the launch of our future projects shortly". WTF??? No offence here but I mean how it can be possible. I called them immediately and they confirmed the same. This time, I really regretted my decision.

After I missed my chance, I decided to follow them on facebook so that in future I should be best updated with any information from XRBIA. When I was going through the page I found this message from the Moderator, "Thank you for the overwhelming response to the first phase of bookings for Xrbia and for all who have missed the bus worry not! Simply participate in the President of Xrbia contest and WIN a house! :)" Actually there was a very big smile on my face that time. Somehow from inside I was getting this message that, "This is happening only for me and this is actually my chance! :)".

| Secret to success? |
I had learnt this somewhere that "There is not secret to success. What exists is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure." The contest ask you about your basic information through Facebook and then a Reason i.e. why you should be elected as the President of XRBIA? Apart from this there are 3 optional things (i.e. image, video and blog) that you can also upload along with your profile. Although these 3 things are optional but it's good to have to impress the judges. From my side I have put a lot of effort to win this contest. I would say I have given my 100% from my side for preparing everything from snaps to videos and no doubt this blog as well. I learnt how to edit movies, merging, adding voice etc... Preparing the video was one of the very tough task for me but some how I learnt it from several website and uploaded. Probably I would write another blog explaining all these stuff :D.
